LenderHawk is committed to transparency about how we handle your data. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights. We believe in a straightforward approach: we collect as little as necessary, we tell you exactly what we do with it, and we give you meaningful control.

Information We Collect
Automatic Collection
When you use LenderHawk, we automatically collect: your IP address and general location, browser type and device information, pages visited and time spent, and search queries you perform (including state, industry, loan size, and program selections). Search queries are stored in our database to improve search relevance and generate aggregate market reports.
Information You Provide
If you contact us through forms, email, or feedback features, we collect: your name, email address, and the content of your message. If we add account features in the future, we will update this policy accordingly.
Cookies & Tracking
We use cookies for essential site functionality (session management) and analytics. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. See Section 06 for our full cookie policy.

How We Share Information
We may share your information in the following ways:
With Lenders & Partners
When you search for lenders, request information, or express interest in financing, we may share your search criteria, contact information, and business details with lenders, financial service providers, and partners who may be able to assist you. This sharing is part of how we connect borrowers with lenders and may result in lenders or partners contacting you directly.
Aggregate Data Products
We may create, sell, license, or distribute aggregate and anonymized data products including market reports, trend analyses, demand intelligence, and compiled datasets. These products are derived from publicly available SBA lending records and anonymized platform usage patterns, and do not identify individual users.
Service Providers & Business Operations
We may share information with companies that provide services on our behalf (hosting, analytics, customer support) and in connection with business transactions such as mergers, acquisitions, or asset sales.
Certain data sharing may constitute a “sale” under the CCPA. See Section 08 for your opt-out rights.

- Portability: Request your data in a portable, machine-readable format.

California Privacy Rights (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):
- Right to know: You can request details about what personal information we collect and how it is used.
- Right to delete: You can request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain exceptions.
- Right to opt out of “sale”: The sharing of anonymized search analytics (Category B in Section 04) may constitute a “sale” under CCPA. You have the right to opt out by contacting us at founders@lenderhawk.com.
- Non-discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising your CCPA rights.
Note: SBA lending data (Category A) is compiled from public government records and does not contain personal information as defined by CCPA.

Children’s Privacy (COPPA)
LenderHawk is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will promptly delete it. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at founders@lenderhawk.com.
